Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking for a flexible remote opportunity? BruntWork is seeking a skilled Sage 50 Bookkeeper to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our clients by managing daily bookkeeping tasks efficiently and accurately from the comfort of your home.

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. As a WFH Sage 50 Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that all financial records are up-to-date, reconciled, and compliant. We are looking for a self-starter who can hit the ground running and handle the day-to-day operations of our accounting department with precision.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Perform daily bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger using Sage 50 software.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
  • Ensure all financial data is organized and easily accessible.
  • Communicate financial findings and discrepancies to the management team.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant, preferably with Sage 50 (Peachtree) experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
