Bhd. is currently seeking a skilled Wire Cut Machinist to join our dynamic team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this role, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art Wire Cut (EDM) machines to fabricate high-quality components with tight tolerances. Tanggung Jawab
- Operate Wire Cut Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment to fabricate metal parts according to technical specifications.
- Set up and load raw materials onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and stability for optimal cutting.
- Monitor machine operations during the cutting process, adjusting parameters to maintain optimal cutting speed and surface finish.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM) to ensure they meet quality control standards.
- Read and interpret complex technical drawings and engineering blueprints.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and 5S workplace management practices.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and minor troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience operating Wire Cut EDM machines.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and engineering standards.
- Excellent ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and precision.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills for logging production data and maintenance records.
