Underground Technology Engineering Construction is seeking a vigilant and proactive Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) to join our dynamic team in the Central Region. As a key member of our operations team, you will implement comprehensive health and safety management systems, conduct rigorous site inspections, and lead safety initiatives that protect our workforce. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management system in alignment with MOM regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, or near-misses and prepare detailed reports with actionable preventive measures.
- Conduct safety briefings, tool-box meetings, and training sessions to maintain a high level of safety awareness among employees and subcontractors.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including government authorities and auditors, during safety audits and inspections.
- Maintain comprehensive safety documentation and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and industry standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper usage of safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on-site.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the construction or engineering sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and relevant Code of Practice.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with workers, management, and authorities.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools is highly preferred.
