We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) to join our dynamic team in Tuas.
As a WSHO, you will be the cornerstone of our safety culture, ensuring that all project operations strictly adhere to the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and corporate safety protocols. You will play a pivotal role in identifying potential hazards, conducting thorough risk assessments, and cultivating a 'Safety First' mindset across our construction sites. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project WSH Management System in full compliance with MOM regulations.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Lead safety committee meetings and provide expert advice on WSH matters to project management and site teams.
- Investigate all site incidents and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Monitor and enforce the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities, including working at heights and confined space entry.
- Organize and deliver comprehensive safety training and toolbox talks to enhance site staff awareness.
- Maintain all required WSH documentation for regulatory submissions and internal quality assurance.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid WSHO registration with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the construction or engineering industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore WSH Acts, Regulations, and Codes of Practice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in conducting Risk Assessment (HIRARC) and incident investigation.
- Relevant qualifications such as Advanced Certificate in WSH or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and manage the safety aspects of multiple project phases in a fast-paced environment.
