Smitech Engineering Pte Ltd is a fast-growing, established M&E contractor, and we are currently seeking a highly motivated Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator to join our team. This is a critical, site-based role supporting a major infrastructure project at Changi Airport.
As our WSH Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest safety standards, ensuring full regulatory compliance, and fostering a robust safety culture on-site. You will collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to mitigate operational risks and drive our 'Safety First' commitment. Tanggung Jawab
- Ensure all site activities comply with the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and relevant MOM regulations.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Method Statements for construction activities.
- Facilitate daily toolbox meetings and conduct safety inductions for new workers and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date WSH documentation, reports, and incident logs.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to investigate work-related accidents or near-misses and propose preventive measures.
- Ensure that all site personnel utilize the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a minimum of a WSH Coordinator Certification or Advanced Certificate in WSH.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in the construction or M&E industry in Singapore.
- Strong working knowledge of Singapore's WSH legislation and regulations.
- Experience in major infrastructure or airport-related projects is highly preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and reporting software.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and train staff at all levels.
- Ability to work independently on-site and manage high-pressure situations effectively.
