Join our dynamic construction team as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) cum Environmental Control Officer (ECO) in Bukit Timah. This critical role combines safety management with environmental stewardship to ensure regulatory compliance and worker protection. You'll be responsible for developing robust safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and implementing environmental controls across construction sites. The ideal candidate will drive proactive safety culture, investigate incidents, and maintain compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and environmental regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and environmental audits to identify hazards and regulatory compliance gaps
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and environmental management systems
- Investigate workplace accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents to determine root causes
- Deliver comprehensive safety training programs for construction workers and site management
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste
- Maintain accurate safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies during inspections and audits
- Monitor air quality, noise levels, and other environmental parameters on construction sites
Kualifikasi
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related field
- Valid WSHO certification from Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in construction safety and environmental control
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's WSHA, Environmental Protection Act, and construction regulations
- Certification in environmental management systems (ISO 14001) preferred
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis experience
- Excellent communication skills for training stakeholders and reporting findings
- Proficiency in safety management software and environmental monitoring tools
